Fireplace operation. First open the damper. Turn the knob at the top of the fireplace counterclockwise to open the damper. The damper is the door at the top of the fireplace and the bottom of the chimney. It lets smoke out when there’s a fire and the door is open. It keeps cold air out when there’s no fire and the door is closed. #travel See Post
Around 1997, about 27 years ago I had my first meal at a French restaurant. At the Bonaparte in Montreal currently but I am not sure if it’s the same restaurant. I remember the meal was five courses and I remember the lobster bisque the most. The restaurant had wood paneling and probably a private room. It was located in the Old French quarter.
