March 2020 - Since 1993, a single share of Berkshire Hathaway has returned 2380% while a share of SPY for the Standard and Poor's 500 returned 571%. Berkshire Hathaway generates cash from it's multiple insurance companies and invests it well in equities. Lately, it's been investing in airline stocks. It's largest holding currently is Apple. Sometimes Berkshire buys companies outright. #stocks
