April 2024 - My two favorite rackets over the last year have been the Volkl v cell 8 and the Yonex vcore pro 97. The Volkl has been very comfortable for the elbow. I have transitioned from orange strings to Kirschbaum synthetic gut strings 1.30 at 55 pounds tension. The synthetic gut strings impart less spin and allows for a flatter and faster ground strokes.
