France has really good passing. They are finding the open man and sharing the ball well. All the goals were based on great passes in the Switzerland game. The long pass for the counter goal by Valbuena at 40 minutes was fifty yards long. Benzema is scoring well but he also passes the ball. This is wonderful football to watch.

6/21/14 - Germany and Ghana played to a 2-2 tie. The first half of this game was a good example of why this sport does not gain popularity in the United States. A significant part of the half was played in the middle of the field. Germany was playing a very defensive game against a faster opponent. Ghana was not capitalizing on their opportunities. They do have some good passes here and there. When a ball is kicked into the open field, they have the speed to get it and make a play.

Nokia appears to have sold its mobile device business to Microsoft. The company trades under NOK and is currently involved in telecommunications infrastructure. The shares are volatile at 8.22 but the options carry high yields at 5% in a month.

Hotels near Paris. Pullman Hotel in Versailles has an excellent price on Kayak but the hotel is far away from the center of the city. Hotel Splendid Tour Eiffel is near the Eiffell Tower and towards the center of the city. Hotel Mercure Paris La Villette is on the outskirts of the city.

The Louvre museum is a 40 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. The Rodin Museum is nearby also. The 7th arrondisement appears to have several tourist attractions. Grand Hotel Dore is on the outskirts. Hotel Sophie Germain is in south Paris but not near attractions. Notre Dame is near the 3rd Arrondisement. The Paris Marriott is on the Champs Elysees. Standard Design Hotel is in the west, far away from attractions. Best Western Premiere 61 is on the outskirts on the west side.

Snapchat reported terrible losses in November 2017. The stock went from 15 to 12.5. For several companies, the stock price is pure speculation for three months culminating in one day of actual financial results. The only thing that stopped the stock from going lower was that A Chinese company Tencent bought 10 percent of the stock in the open market. Probably a smart move since the price has dropped from the IPO.
